I sent this letter to Georgetown, good idea?

Yea, some of you guys on this board are over competitive and too analytical. And what's with the eloquent vocabulary all the time? Can you not speak in a colloquial tongue? I admit sometimes i have to look up a word to understand what the hell your talking about.

Lets be supportive. Anyways, i think that is an excellent idea. It definately cannot hurt. It shows you really want to go there and you are trying hard to get in.

I was going to do the same thing. Actually i already have the letter typed up, but i called USC to ask if it was a good idea before i sent it and they said probably not. They said the adcom is so overloaded that they may not read it. Soooo hopefully they read yours.

USC, thank you so much for your support. This is what this board should be used for. I have been here since Fall 03' when taking the SATs and the support I got there was awesome. I think that anyone who does not come to this board to be supportive really does not belong here.

It is my belief that a majority of the people here are good, hard working, and dedicated people who are serious about their education. The people here are not the son's and daughters of Senators and billionaires who are shoe-ins to the ivy leauges but are just students from regular famlies who live regular lives.

This forum is disgustingly competitive and bitter. I will be happy when the admissions process is over and there will be no need to consult this website ever again.
