I think I found where Brown asks for SAT II Writng writing sample

http://bms.brown.edu/plme/Requirements.html

Excerpt:
Applicants are required to take the SAT I and three SAT II Subject Tests administered by the CEEB. [Any three SAT II Tests of the candidate’s choosing are acceptable, but candidates are encouraged to take the SAT II Writing Test. Those who take the Writing Test are asked to send a copy of the actual writing sample from the Test.

I don’t know if this just applies to PLME or any other applicant. In either case, I took my writing test in June, and I don’t know if CollegeBoard keeps records of writing samples for more than 6 months.

Do you think this means that the writing sample is mandatory?

I think it just applies to PLME applicants because after all, that webpage is under the plme section (as seen in the web address).

that's strange...i dont remember reading that, and I never sent in a writing sample, and i got in ED...I didn't apply to PLME if it makes a difference, but that is def. weird

ok, so where are we supposed to get the sample?

Ask Snapple. She got in PLME ED, so she'd know probably.
