did you know studying for 50 minutes and then taking a break for ~5-10 minutes helps keep maximum retention, as opposed to studying for long hours without end?

The problem for me is that I study for 5 minutes and take a 2 minute break. Then 5 more minutes of studying, and another 2 minute break. It doesn't accomplish much that way. But, fortunately, I don't need much help remembering things.

i'm doing that right now actually. im studying chem because i have to take to (rather forced to) take the regents for it in august, and im going over molecular forumula's, clicking refresh on this site, going back, getting nothing done, and repeat.

it's quite...unproductive

ugh!..the chem regents was beast this year. Good luck with that studying...

What is chem regents? Is it a scholarship?

This is how my brain makes me memorize your statement.
---> break- 5*10=50 study

Its quite helpful that my brain is mathematically oriented.

regents = subject specific state mandated tests

i think someone's downstairs and i'm home alone...

Wow, this thread title is quite attractive.

that thread title is creepy, and im surprised that nobody commented on untill the 8th post

this thread title got me horny jk

Reminded me of R.L.Stine's 'I Live In Your Basement'.
Anyone read it?

i think that's the beauty of CC and us CCer's

we won't mind the relation of the thread title to the content of it until later in the thread, lol

anyway, at least you clicked it and got valuable studying advice ;)

and how does that thread make your horny? LOL, the thread title sounds creepy/stalkerish. i haven't read 'I live in your basement,' I thought more of Disturbia or something when making the title lol
