<p>As much work as I mentioned senior year was, I found it all entirely rewarding. It even exceeds my junior year as my favorite year: absolutely loved it. But if you're only doing the AP courses and ECs because of college apps then I can see why it'd be miserable :). I picked my courses and ECs long before considering anything but a state school.</p>
<p>I took more AP classes senior year than any other year, and I actually found it much more managable. I think that by senior year you really get the hang of how to deal with AP classes most effectively, so having multiple at a time is no big deal. The college app process is pretty tough and stressful, but most of that just revolves around writing the essays, which you can pretty much complete with just a couple of open days if you can get down to business, and then polishing up the week before they are due.</p>
