I took the October exam. Wondering if I should retake it if I didn't study much.

Hi I'm currently a junior in high school and I got 2000 in October for first time taking it. I signed up for January one at first but then due to school and laziness (I know..) I did not get much time to study. I postponed it to march 10th which is next week and again I feel like I have not prepared much for it (done 3 sets of practice tests..)

I am taking 2 ap classes, chem and us and the ap exam is the beginning of may(7th and 11th) and I saw that sat is a week before (5th). I think I have to spend time studying for the ap exam, so I am wondering if I should postpone it again to June 2nd.

If colleges don't really care how many times I have taken the sat, then I think I will just go ahead and take it but I don't see much improvements gonna be shown next week...

Suggestions ??!

Thanks. Stressed out junior

What is your goal for next week’s SAT?
How much are you studying for your AP exams per day?
What are your scores for the practice exams?

Honestly, if you know that you will study more during the 3-4 weeks between the end of APs and the SAT, then take it in June. For me, (also taking it next week :D) I’d rather do the SAT subject tests in june and leave the summer to study for the SAT for october if you are looking for a score 2200+

Good Luck !!
