Retake in June or wait till October?

I'm a junior, and I took the May SAT I for the second time, and just received my scores. I scored lower than the first time, and I still haven't broken the 2200 mark that I desperately want to achieve. I registered for the June SAT I a month ago, just in case I didn't do well on the May test or I was unable to write it in May, but I'm really discouraged by the May score and don't believe that I will be able to boost my score enough in time for next Saturday.

Should I write the June test (it'll be my third time), or should I just study like crazy over the summer and write it in October? I was originally planning on writing my subject tests in October, but I guess I can push that back to November...

Please give me advice!

It does not make sense to retake without a thorough preparation. It is not a lucky draw that it will give you a higher chance just by the number of attempts. In addition, the number of attempts is kind of limited. Your next retake should be your last retake. You look very desperate as you signed up for the next test even before knowing your score from the last test. But more important is if you have already achieved your target score in practice consistently. Once you have reach your plateau in practice, then do your final attempt.
