I turned down Vanderbilt and USC for Georgetown
Middlebury, Lafayette, William & Mary and some other LACs.
My daughter turned down Duke for Georgetown.
Wharton, Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell, Northwestern, Tufts, Case Western, and a full ride to Indiana Kelley School of Business.
UCLA, Emory, WUSL, Berkeley, UPENN
I know two Class of 2021 who turned down Dartmouth and Penn. My DD turned down Middlebury, BC Honors, Northeastern Honors, UVA, Tufts, Richmond and Davidson.
Daughter turned down Georgetown for UVA. I turned down Georgetown for Duke. But I do love Georgetown, DC.
^ We went down to the last three on GU, Tufts and UVA. DD basically felt that they were all similar academically. DD’s final decision was based on fit and gut feel that specific majors (Classics and European History) were slightly better at GU than the others.
