I am so serious... I wrote this in my essay for Emory...
I want to be a sexual therapist...
Would a major in Psychology/Biology help me to obtain this job?

I think women’s studies is what you want to look at

a sexual therapist?

does that mean you’ll be hitting on your patients?

I don’t think so.

Psychology with a major/minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies would be good.
I’m not sure whether a sex therapist would really need a biology major-human anatomy & physiology courses would be useful, though.

it would be useful to have a lot of sex, of all kinds, and I mean ALL,

None of these majors would help you. You need to look more at Health Education as a major. It trains you to become a health educator and there are many subfields and applications that go along with this field, one being sex education.

If you school does not have this major then I would suggest Psychology, but you will need a master’s degree in either Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Public Health: Community health or health promotions specializations.
