300 hours of volunteering/supervising mentally disabled kids at summer camp

Academic Team...4 years, captain senior year
NHS

Major: Economics
Essays: Should be good
LOR: should be good

You are an excellent student with a very strong chance. Work on your essays and recommendations. Continue working hard.

my first reaction to your post title is “don’t we all?”

that aside, I think any MIT adcom member would tell you that your academics are solid - so just work on those essays and recs and the interview.

curious - are you a rising senior or junior or younger?

rising junior

Just out of curiosity, but what did you actually learn in Bangladesh?

I use the adjective ‘actually’ because I’m somewhat curious about particulars of it, and partly because I want to know how exactly an experience shapes one’s world view.
