I go to a community college right now but would like to be at a 4-year university by Fall 2014 as a second year student. I want to major in Kinesiology to become a Physical Therapist. In my one year at community college, I took Psychology 1, English 1, Government 1 & 2, History 1 & 2, College Algebra, Biology 1 for science majors, Dance Appreciation, and Learning Framework (required). The university I would like to attend requires that I take 2 science classes, and 2 other math classes. Since it is too late and risky to drop the classes I'm enrolled in right now, the only time I'd be able to take all of those classes would be in the summer but, I'm planning on going on a long international trip during that time. I am ready to get out of this community college and move to a university. Is there a chance of me getting admitted into the university, but not the major? Should I apply as an undecided major rather than a Kinesiology major? My GPA from the Fall semester was 3.5 and hopefully goes up this semester. I've been freaking out about this whole situation so any helpful guidance/information about this process would be greatly appreciated.

You could apply as undecided but it may play against you; in addition, it means you may have to take an extra semester to graduate. Does it seem worth it to you and do your parents have the money for the extra semester?
Taking the science classes may not be possible in the summer: the university may want you to be registered for the classes and have a mid-semester report on those when you apply. Check with them.

I would like to ask someone from the university to get an opinion. Who should I ask? What office?
Thank you so much for replying to my post
