I want to transfer

Right now I go to UC Irvine and would like to look into transfering to another school. I would like to go to more of a college town that has some school spirit, plenty of activities, etc. Its also important that it isnt a crazy partying school; thats not really my thing. I would like to live somewhere on the west coast and study psychology. Also, would I have to start over with GE's if I didn't chose to go to another UC school? Thanks in advance

How good are your grades/ where can you get into? How big of a school do you want?

I'm not sure where I can get into, but my GPA is around 3.0. School size somewhere in the 8000-25000 range. I would rather have a bigger school than a smaller one.

U of Oregon, UCSB

I dont know if its changed, but I was pretty sure UCSB was one of the biggest partying schools in the nation.

No more than most. There are not that many choices really. Nobody drags you to a party. It's a good school.

UCSB also has more Nobel laureates on its faculty, and in more fields (economics, physics, and chemistry) than every LAC, and most every university in the country. (five last time I looked)

I second Oregon, Eugene's a cool little city
