i appreciate anyone who can give me some real help.

ur gpa is very good (assuming its unweighted) but even if its weighted its fine for fordham. but you must raise your sat score to be competitive. get at least an 1800/2400 and you are in. 1700= probebly in. otherwise your chances are lower. good luck

I would agree with please. Our school has MANY kids who applied to Fordham and the ones that I know who got in had scores in the upper 1700's to mid 1800's. Also, you gpa is fine for Fordham. Good luck!

good shot--you may need better SATs, though...

I suggest you try the ACT. You may fare better, and it couldn't hurt. You don't have to send it.

my friend had the same gpa and an SAT of 1760, and was also deferred, i would write them a letter expressing your interest in the school, i would take the SAT again also. good luck!

I would really concentrate on your CR score. Really work on the vocab if you can -

i agree with retaking the sat- if you still have that option, you should definitely do it. but i think the january test is coming up very soon or already passed so i would look into if you can still take it/if fordham will accept it.

if there is an admissions rep who you have spoken to or whos presentation you have attended, you could email them to make sure that they know that you're still interested. also, if fordham accepts additional letters of reccomendation- there's the option of sending another, really good one.

good luck!
