I was reading previous posts about people contacting their admission counselor and being accepted. Should I do this? I have already accepted my offer for the Spring semester, but I feel like there has to be something to increase my chances. Should I send in letters of recommendation or send a letter/email/calling to express my interest in attending? My counselor is Stacy Mills. It says they will let me know on or before June 30th if they can accept me in the fall. I just think it would be terrible having to wait till the Spring to start and I’d be behind everyone else who was attending in the fall. Has anyone had any experience with this?
I wouldn’t know anything about increasing you chances, but the fall wouldn’t have to be a waste if you completed a few pre-req classes at a local community college.
Yes. You should definitely contact your admissions advisor and ask her if there is anything you can do or submit to better your chances of fall admission. Her job is to help applicants and answer their questions. Just be polite with your questions and you should be fine. I think the more interest you show the better your chances will be. You can also send a follow-up “Thank you” email after your phone conversation. That type of correspondence is always appreciated. Good Luck I hope it works out for you.
I’m hearing a lot of people are getting accepted now into the fall semester. Looking at the dates on this post, you very well may know by now. Anywho…
