I wasn't in very many clubs freshman year

<p>I was only in 1 club freshman year will colleges look down on me for that compared to other who did 4 straight years of a club?</p>

<p>Why would they care if you were ever in clubs at all? If you have ECs that show commitment and leadership, it doesn’t matter whether they’re clubs or not.</p>

<p>ECs don’t have to be organized, and they don’t have to be school clubs. Do you volunteer? Do research? Have a job? Have any productive hobbies (art, music, publishing writing, etc.)? Participate in competitions? Did you do anything productive last summer?</p>

<p>Freshman year is all about creating a strong base for ur GPA don’t do too much one club is fine</p>
