My situation is while I did some clubs my freshman year, as a junior im no longer involved in them. Throughout my sophomore and junior year im doing more clubs, I'm even considering founding one aswel as snagging a leadership position. If I wanted to apply to an Ivy league school such as Columbia, would I have minimal chances based on that, even if I were have an outstanding gpa in a difficult curriculum?

help anyone?

Clubs are overrated. The important thing is depth. How deep weer you involved in your club? How much time did u spend in them? The idea that being in a clubs for all four years as a requirement for an Ivy league is naive. Clubs are just a subcategory of Extra curricular activities. If you are truly ment for an Ivy league, you would have done something that isnt’ school related, whether is be clubs or not.

Ok sweet thanks

I agree with Djokovic. It’s about substance not quantity. Anyone can be a joiner to a list of do-nothing clubs. Focus on accomplishments instead.
