well i was at cornell for thurs and friday:
i thought that cornell days was planned out really well....
i mean there arent any signs saying cornell days register here or anything, but the programs/discussions available were awesome!

on thursday- i went on the residence hall tours- i think this is essential- since the housing/dining info forms are due soon.
i don't advise doing the campus tour- it's really long, and boring, just wander around the cornell campus urself, and u'll be fine!

on friday- i sat in an intro to bio class (which was gr8), and an anatomy class (full of sophomores and maybe juniors who were going to take the mcats the day after). then i went to a bio sci major discussion, pre med discussion, and research forum.

it was funny- because the first time i went to cornell- (last summer) with family, we were on central campus (where the clock tower is), and we were going in and out of the woody area. this time, i went by myself, and was only on north campus (where the dorms are) and west campus--

i also saw collegetown- and its really cute- with all the shops and stuff, like a little college city.

a lot of people say cornell is isolated- but seriously i think they are mistaken. yes it is in the middle of nowhere, but who cares? i mean u have collegetown (psuedocity), and u have like over 14000 undergrads plus grads and faculty etc. there are sooooo many things going around in campus its crazy.

for all u indian people- there is a bhangra team, garba team (gujju all the way), there are indian restaurants in collegetown, holi celebrations, navratri, dandiyaa raas, u name is they have it, even pujas...... the list is endless- u just have to be aggressive and know whats going on.

to sum up- the weather was awesome when i went- people in shorts, sandals and tanktops- sun bathing. i thought it was a little chilly- but once it hits 60, its a heat wave there. i had a great time- watching people play frisbee, lacrosse, etc. it was incredible!

but for all of u yet to attend cornell days- pack sweaters- the weather when i was there, was b/c of luck....hehe.....so dress in layers!
