I will not ask you to review anything

Hello guys!

Could give me a little help?
On Princeton Writing Supplement there is a prompt that says "Tell us about a person who has influenced you in a significant way."

I have written about Steve Jobs. There are inumerous ways in which Steve Jobs influenced me and I even state two or threes lessons I have learned from him in the essay to Princeton Engineering. However in this essay that is supposed to focus about Steve Jobs only, I have only said one thing. This is, I have spoken about almost my entire life until I first heard of him and how insecure I was becoming lalalala and then I read the Think Different ad and I reformulated my life and my dreams in a complete different way. I could talk about his way of perceiving the market, his leadership, how he inspired other people, the technology / liberal arts dicotomy and even his use of drugs. However I have already exceeded the 500-word limit.

Should I try to reformulate the essay so as to include that information and therefore focus a little more on the prompt or should I enphasize how he inculcated me confidence in that particular episode and deepen it a lot more?

Thank you guys!
