<p>Location: Michigan, good public school (top 5 in state)</p>

<p>Standardized Testing: 31 ACT (33 reading, 31 math, 30 english, 29 science, 10 on essay), 2070 SAT (670 CR, 730 M, 670 W), 730 on U.S. History Subject Test</p>

<p>High School Grades: 3.94 UW, School doesn't rank</p>

<p>Course Rigor (through Junior year): Honors: Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Physics; AP: U.S. History (4), American Government, Micro and Macro Economics.</p>

<p>Sports: 1 year Track, 4 years Skiing (captain), 4 years football</p>

<p>Cool Stuff: Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the Arrow (scouting's national honor society); Chapter, Lodge, and Section Vice Chief for the OA (section covers all of southeast Michigan). Work on local judgeship campaigns, founding member of my school's history club.</p>

<p>Schools I'm interested in: University of Virginia, University of Michigan, Penn State, Boston College, Indiana</p>

<p>I'm going to say yes for UVA, UMich, and Indiana. Especially if you use your ACT score, which to me seems higher since you got above 30 on everything but Science. On the SAT, you have a couple less than 700.....and that SATII doesn't look too great either sorry. </p>

<p>Boston College-I'm going to say a high maybe/low yes, it seems you have pretty good ECs, and I think those will help you. </p>

<p>Also, I'd say try to get your ACT to 32, I think that might help your chances as well.</p>

<p>Thanks for the help. I'll probably end up taking the ACT one more time this fall, as well as some more subject tests.</p>
