So how hard are the IB lab classes? Are they easy or hard?
Is taking an upper div IB lab in the summer a lot more difficult than in the school year?

Does anyone have experience with 131L and 132L?

Also, does anyone know why there is always a 30 foot line in front of the IB office for the past couple of weeks. This makes me worry about the organization of the department..

132L is very easy. I took it during the summer and it was super chill.

Not an IB major, so not sure about the line, though IB friends have been complaining about not getting advisor codes on time, so that may be it.

People are trying to get their advisor codes. The major has been growing and the office is short staffed, so the wait has been problematic. I’m fairly certain they will do something to prevent this in the future.

does anyone know if you can declare IB in the fall, spring, and in the summer. Basically wondering what happens if I take a summer class and get enough units to declare after that class.

This is also a bit out there, but do you actually need an undergraduate degree in biology if you hope to pursue a science related career, or get an mph and work in the more scientific aspects of public health? Like would getting a minor in a bio science or being some other social science major but still taking a bunch of core science be enough to keep your options open?
