how many credits do i need to hold from ib to receive u1 status? does it have to be 30? ...i only have 20. is that sufficient to enter directly into U1?</p>

<p>yea, but the question is also what credits are you getting from IB, because you'll need to complete the freshman requirements either way. </p>
<p>but you can make up those 10 credits later (through summer courses, taking morethat 15 credits a semester, or taking one extra semester (i.e 3.5 years))</p>

<p>there is no such thing as "u0 courses" or "u1 courses" really. its just the requirements.
you will be entering as a u0, with some advanced standing. you will finish what ever part of the freshman program that you havent done, and will take courses that require what youhave done as prequisites probably. your classes will be a mix of u0 and u1 students (some will be first year u1's and some will be second year u1s).</p>
