IB diploma candidate planning to take AP exams

I'm currently in grade 11 and since IB exam scores aren't out until after college admission decisions are made, I'm planning to take some AP exams.

I'm thinking of taking a few from these subjects:
Chem, Bio, Human Geography, Math, French language

i've taken... (1st semester)
IB English 11 SL
IB French 11 SL
IB Chem 11 HL

and now i'm taking (2nd semester)
IB Math 12 HL
IB Geography 11 HL
IB Bio 11 SL
IB French 12 SL

I'm just wondering if there's any IBers who took AP exams by self studying.
Are they around the same level as IB exams? Should I start studying on my own for them now? Any tips or advices?

sry wrong place... how do u erase this??><

Don't take an AP exam in a course where you are already in an HL class. You will probably get credit for for AP or your IB, but not both, since the credit is for intro level courses.

Honestly, AP and IB is totally different. For instance, IB foreign languages are easier than AP foreign languages (in my opinion). When we've had kids from IB take AP exams, they never did well.
