IB History of the Americas or AP U.S History or USVA History

I am currently in AP Comparative Government. The class isn’t as bad as I thought it would be, and some topics are interesting and thought-provoking, but MAN the amount of time I spend because of that class is insane. It can also get very challenging at times, and I don’t really enjoy taking notes for a billion pages each night haha.
Next year, in junior year, I have the option of taking IB History of the Americas, AP US History, or USVA History. Right now, I have signed up for IB HOTA, but because I am not doing the full IB Diploma, I feel like that is unwise (I would have to take IB Topics senior year. Yikes!) My other 2nd “most rigorous” course is APUSH, but I’m quite iffy on that. Personally, I would feel comfortable taking USVA History junior year, and then IB Geography SL senior year. But I don’t want colleges to think I’m slacking if my transcript says that I dropped from an AP class in 10th grade, then to a regular class in 11th. I’m already dropping the IB science route. (I’m in IB Chemistry right now, and am taking regular Physics 11th grade.) I’ve talked to my mom, my friends, my counsellors, and teachers, to no avail. Please help! I want to go to VCUarts or RISD if that helps! Thanks!
