Hello,
I’m currently a sophmore in high school planning my IB diploma pathway. I was wondering what AP exams taking IB History HL would prepare me for, like could I take AP European history and/or AP World History?
Also, in comparison to other HLs, how hard is the history? I already am planning to do 3 other HLs, so is taking history as a fourth worth it?

The only HL history my school offers is called IB History of the Americas/20th Century Topics, so it would probably resemble closest to AP US History. I’m also doing IB next year, and I think IB as it is with 3 HLs is already a lot of work but if you want to add a fourth HL and think you can handle it then go for it.
