Does it matter to colleges if you only take SL math and HL science if you're planning to major in science anway? I'm starting the IB diploma program next year and i originally signed up for HL math, but my pre-calc grade is a B which is a lot lower than my usual math grades. Im not sure if its the same elsewhere but the first year of HL math is AP calc at my school. I'm worried that because im not doing so great in pre-calc that i could really mess with my gpa if i try HL. So is HL really all that better looking? Im intrested in majoring in biology in college so i was wondering if it would be that big of a deal? Any input would be greatly appreciated :]

take SL math methods or SL math studies....its not that big of a deal and will be much easier

Ya, take the SL math studies test if you want it REALLY easy (it's basically pre-calc all over again) and you can take the Calc class senior year if you have room on your schedule. I don't think it'd be a big deal.

thanks for your opinions, the thing is i probably wont be able to take ap calc senior year because my school does a block scheduling (4 classes a day) but ill definitely try
