<p>I'm a pre-IB sophomore, and I was wondering how difficult IB Music SL is. Do you have to have a very strong background in music to do it? I've been exposed to four different instruments since 1st grade so I know how to read music and all that, and although I don't play any instruments anymore, I have been taking voice lessons since middle school. Do I have to know theory and anything besides sight reading and basic music understanding to do this? Thanks!</p>
<p>IB Arts subjects are extremely challenging and it is advisable to have a knowledge of playing at least one instrument fluently if you want to take it.</p>
