IB program or AICE program

This thread is just out of curiosity, but I know a few kids that are in the AICE program while I am in the IB program and I was wondering which out of the two programs is usually seen as more rigorous? Also do some schools make the course and workload itself harder for certain classes compared to other schools? I know many kids that are also in the IB program at a different high school (unranked in USNEWS.best high schools) while kids at my school seem to have a lot harder time (top 15 high schools on USNEWS).

Well I looked it up since I didn’t know what AICE was and apparently it’s only in Florida so I’d pick IB but I don’t know much about it. And obviously it’s in Britain but…yeah.

IB is much more well-known. I’m currently in IB, and I would say it’s much more difficult than AP (which I’ve tested in). To get your IB Diploma, you have to do extra hours outside of school and write a 4000 word essay. You can only test as a junior or senior, though.
