I’m a sophomore. My next year’s classes are: IB American Lit, IB US History, Honors Pre-Calculus, IB Spanish Lit 7-8, Theory of Knowledge. I just had a talk with the IB coordinator and been told that I cannot take IB Bio and IB Psycho at the same time. I have to choose between the two. I really want to take BOTH, but can only take ONE. I’m confused…
Which one shouuld I take?

The Bio is more valuable for college admissions.

IB Psychology is a great course...the most popular of all at my school. I don't get why you can't have Bio and Psych. I (senior) have Physics and Psych and my sister (junior) has Chem and Psych. I guess IB program are pretty different.

Ib Psych is known to be an easy class, and colleges know this as well. I suggest IB biology SL.

Colleges won't care whether you take Psych or Bio... really. Take whatever interests you the most. If you think your schedule is already really difficult, take the class you will excell in more. All that colleges care about is that you take the hardest type of classes, not the hardest individual classes themselves.

the thing is I want to major in Psychobiology (or vice-versa). my schedule for next year is already full... i can't drop Pre-cal, i need 4 years of math; i can't drop history; i can't drop any one of my classes. I am very interested with BOTH subjects. But i guess IB bio would be a little easier than Psycho.. jeez.. i don't even know....

IB bio is freaking hard though almost impossible to get a 6 on
