Hi everyone,

I'm about to go into IB as a junior when school starts, but my courses haven't been completely confirmed yet.
I chose
Math SL, Mandarin SL, Chem SL, Psychology HL, Geography HL, English HL.
My school only provides 3 HL courses for students to pick, but last year, a student aiming for Ivies did end up doing 4 HL's.
I've heard that my choice of HLs were too weak, and that I should choose Math HL, so that my chances will be a lot higher.
Just for quick background info, I want to go into business or hospitality, and am really bad at sciences, but fairly decent at math (770 in SAT Math 2C in grade 10.)

So here's the question:
Would admission officers look unfavourably upon my choice of courses, and would switching to math HL significantly benefit me by just having that one more higher level course, or would it compromise my chance of getting a 7?
