IB student cannot choose subject test. Help please

Hello colleagues,

I need at least two subject tests and is hard to choose.

I will definitely do MATHs 2 but I cannot decide on 2nd one.

For IB I am doing: HL: Maths, Econ, Business SL: Literature, French, Environmental Systems and Societies.

I was thinking of sitting a science test, but the point is that IB subject Environmental Systems and Societies does not really correspond with any of the subject tests...

I was thinking of doing Physics but I kind of forgot it :D I have barrons book for physics. Is it enough to do well? Will the book teach me the sufficient material?

What do you think about doing literature?

Which is the easiest of science tests?

I used to be good in history also, but would you suggest taking this subject test?

What books should I get?

Thank you

Do Math II. Math II is all pre-calculus. IB Math HL has a lot of pre-calc on it, so studying for Math II will prepare you for the Math HL exam.

Barron’s will prepare you well for Physics. But remember - no formula sheet on the SAT II.

SAT II Literature is challenging. I was getting ~700s on practice tests before the actual Lit exam, but I personally thought that the exam wasn’t that hard. I’ll let you know for sure once I get my scores back ;).

There are only two SAT II History exams - World and US History. The exam for US History is so formulaic that it is insanely easy.

Hey, thank you for reply :)

So Barrons book is enough to prepare me for physics even though I havent done it for 2 years? :)

If you study the Barron’s book well enough it should be enough for you to take the test.

If you have the money, I’d recommend taking other ones, such as literature, because you never know how well you’ll do.
