I'd like to get chanced, please :-)

So, after facing a mildly suprising rejection from UPenn ED, I thought maybe I'd return here to get some chances for the other schools to which I applied.

Pleaseeeeee!!! I’ll chance you back!! :-D.

While obviously some of them (Georgetown, UVa, CMU, Cornell) are very competitive and are a gamble no matter what your scores, I think you are competitive with the rest of the applicant pools. I would say you’ll probably get into most of them.

Thanks lovesoccer!

I’ll chance for the ones I know:

NYU: I’d say in; you have solid SAT scores and a plethora of ECs

JHU/Carnegie/Cornell: Your SAT I scores are good for this, but I’m not sure about SAT IIs… 700+ would have been ideal. Also, for these, having an enormous list of ECs isn’t enough. If you picked one or two that you are EXTREMELY passionate about and have done a lot for, and chose those as your essay topics (while most importantly, displaying your unique personality), you are most likely in. Overall, I’d say you very above average shots at these universities.

Chance me?
