Ideal jobs for a 15 year old?

As I continue my sophomore year of high school, I’ve noticed many of my friends getting jobs. Unfortunately, I’m still 14 until October, and I prefer not to bag groceries for 4 hours every weekend to earn money.

Does anyone have any suggestions of jobs a 15 year old can do? I’m open to online surveys (online jobs in general) or even businesses that are teen friendly , other than a grocery store… Let me know what you younger guys and girls do to earn money, thanks!

You might find volunteering to be more interesting.

I know a lot of people who got tutoring jobs.

Lifeguard, sports referee, golf caddy, dog washer/walker, babysitter

What’s wrong with bagging groceries? You’ve got to realize that, as an almost 15 year old, you’re not going to be hired for the corner office type jobs. They’re all going to be the types of jobs that don’t require much education, that rely on your youthful energy, usually for manual labor.

You can google places that hire 15 year olds. McDonalds is one, I know.

My 15 year old daughter worked all summer at a local Italian Ice place. She LOVES her job!!!

Babysitter, mowing lawns, raking leaves, etc.

You’re not going to get a job you “enjoy” at 15. Make sure 15 year olds can work in your state.
Your teenage options are usually: Manual labor, restaurant business, cashier.
Online surveys pay NOTHING, I’ve made about $100 in five years! Most surveys require adults, teens are “ineligible”.

I got my first job at 17 as a math tutor after school.

If you get a job at 14/15, make sure you have some way of getting there - you probably wouldn’t want your parents driving you around all the time.
