<p>Anyone know how to memorize idioms? or where I can find a complete list of idioms we have to know?</p>
<p>i know that gruber's has a list of idioms in its grammar section. but unless you're a non-native speaker, i don't see why you should have to memorize idioms, which ought to come naturally to you...</p>

most of the time it's not so much...as, notice the parallelism there.
not so much ...as means--- rather than..</p>
