I have a good list of national universities, but I want to look into some LAC's to see if I'll happen to like some of them. I'm hoping to go pre-med, so looking for an LAC with good science/bio programs. In a good area/city, with a high student quality of life (food, dorms, social scene). I also like being around a lot of people, so maybe some of the more populated LAC's are a better fit.

Not looking for any I could get into, cause i'll decide that for myself, just looking for ideas. Thanks!

Almost any top LAC is capable of getting you into med school and you don't necessarily have to major in science to do it. But, if you're interested in studying science for the sheer love of it, several programs stand out: Wesleyan because it has Ph.D programs which permit faculty to conduct federally funded research all-year round (and, not just during the summer, like most LACs), and there's Haverford which, like Wesleyan, has been conducting stem cell research and has an NIH (National Institute of Health) Lifetime Career Award recipient on its staff (Wesleyan has had at least four since the award has been given out.) Both Wesleyan and Haverford are unusual for LACs, in this respect.

Other LACs to look at would include Williams, Swarthmore, Hamilton College in New York. In fact, I would take a look at all the NESCAC colleges. And, I would add the Claremont Colleges in California where Harvey Mudd certainly provides an anchor for the surrounding consortium members.
