I’m applying to Cornell alongside 3 other institutions that require the IDOC. Cornell requires a “Cornell University Financial Aid Application Certification” document to be submitted. I uploaded this document alongside documents such as my parents’ federal tax return/W-2/Form 1099, and hit Submit.
Did I just let the 3 other institutions know that I’m applying to Cornell?
The uploads must be reviewed and approved before they are passed on to the college, so if you contact support they may be able to hold it up.
@AroundHere Hold on-- then how am I supposed to submit a document to just Cornell in the first place? I don’t see a place on the IDOC website to do that…
@AroundHere I assumed that the College Board acted as an intermediary, processing the documents and only sending the relevant ones to each university. Is that not the case?
The idoc website states, “A document request is not satisfied until the document is processed and verified…”
Each document goes to the school(s) listed on the “institution requesting” column.
