<p>I'm a senior in high school right now, and my parents have an extension for their taxes, meaning they file much later in the year (I think late Juneish). Because I don't have their 2009 taxes, is there any way for me to fill out the 2010-2011 IDOC or FAFSA? Or am I just being impatient? ...although some scholarships require the FAFSA to determine fin aid and they are due asap..</p>
<p>FAFSA is what you fill out for financial aid. IDOC is a document service that some schools that require the CSS Profile also require. You can use estimated income for the FAFSA. Refer to your parents’ 2008 tax return, year-end paystubs, etc. and complete the FAFSA as accurately as possible. It’s already March - so you need to do this asap. You can file a correction later. Check your colleges carefully - see if any require the CSS Profile in addition to the FAFSA. But the FAFSA is the best place to start.</p>
