A week ago we mailed all of our IDOC documents to the collegeboard using 2-day mail to ensure prompt delivery before the March 1 deadline. Today, however, I received an email from CollegeBoard telling me that I have not submitted my documents and must do so immediately. It says that if I have sent the documents in within the past 10 days that I should ignore the email, but I just wanted to check to see if other people are in the same situation. I thought I had submitted the documents with ample time to spare, so I am hoping they did not get lost anywhere along the way.

Are you able to track the mailing through the post office? Doing so might give you some peace of mind. I sent ours certified so I know it has arrived, but the IDOC status has not yet been updated.

Hmm, I left the mailing up to my father, which might not have been the best idea. I bet he didn’t pay extra for tracking. But thank you, it’s reassuring to hear that other people’s have not been processed either. When did you send/when did they receive yours?

I’m wondering if tracking is included with the 2day? I opted not to pay for the 2day. I mailed mine 1 week ago today (Tuesday.) I was gonna do 2day and the Post Office gal said if I just went regular first class it should arrive Friday. That sounded good at the time. According to USPS tracking it arrived Saturday. I think the President’s Day holiday may have caused things to back up a little and move slower. I was actually surprised to see IDOC accepted things on Saturday, thought it might have to wait until Monday.

Yes-- got the same e-mail. However, signed certified mail shows that package was delivered on Friday, 2/25-- I have decided that this is totally out of my control and I refuse to worry about it anymore ;-)

IDOC has now been updated to say they received it 2/28 and that is the date they will report to the college. (I guess the mail came on Saturday but they didn’t get to it until Monday.) Therefore it is “on time.” However they processed it and made it available to the college today 3/2.
