Has anyone had any luck with IDOC reporting receipt of your documents? Our documents were mailed on February 14th, priority from USPS with assurance that they would arrive on February 15th. When I check the IDOC site for status, it still says they have no record of receiving anything. When I call to check status, I get the message that it is over a 30 minute wait and to call back at another time, then I get cut off. Emails to IDOC go unanswered. And the colleges keep sending us reminders that March 1st is the cutoff date for materials to be submitted to IDOC. Is this normal? Is the College Board so disorganized that they don't know that thousands upon thousands of parents and students will be submitting documents, probably numbering in the millions?

Sorry for the rant, I don't take not having a certain amount of control over the situation very well. Any parents who can verify that these things happen every year?

I sent in our IDOC package via Priority mail (the flat rate envelopes which are supposed to arrive in 3-4 days) on Feb 9; I just checked and it says that they were received on the 14th and colleges got the information on the 16th.

Agree, the phone wait time is longer for IDOC than FAFSA or Profile, too long.

I haven’t had any problems but don’t doubt that others have.

RadDad1 - Did you have tracking number of delivery confirmation from USPS? The first thing you need to do is verify if it’s delivered. If it’s not delivered then IDOC cannot process and you need to re-send using express mail with return receipt right away.

We sent ours Priority with delivery confirmation on 2/16. Delivery confirmation shows it was delivered on 2/19 and IDOC shows they received it on 2/21.
