Basically, I got accepted ED to Boston University and I have submitted my enrollment deposit so I am officially a part of their Class of 2019. I just started to receive the emails about sending in tax documents via College Board’s IDOC. When I checked the institutions requesting documents, I only see Stanford University, which I submitted my Profile to (It was another school I was looking into and since I applied ED to Boston I submitted my CSS Profile early to every college I was interested in) but never actually applied to because I found out about my acceptance to BU before Stanford’s regular decision application deadline. What should I do? I don’t see an option to deny the request, but I don’t want to continue receiving notifications from IDOC about the request and obviously I have no plans to submit the requested documents. Any help/advice will be appreciated!
Did you pull your app to Stanford? Sounds like either you didn’t or S never got the notice. Pull your app there.
@mom2collegekids Well that’s the odd thing, because I never submitted an application to Stanford. Idk know why they would even ask for this stuff when I never gave them an application, just my CSS Profile.
This must be an example of a truly need blind admission (the finance office doesn’t know you didn’t even apply). You have two options: you can call them and say I’m attending a different college, or just ignore it. They won’t process any data for you.
Why would you send S a CSS profile if you never applied there???
