IDOC Waiver For Noncustodial Requirement?

On IDOC it says I have to submit my noncustodial parent’s tax returns. However, I have not had contact with my noncustodial parent in over 10 years. I have requested waivers from each school I am applying to, and have successfully submitted them with approval. However, IDOC shows up that I have to submit this material. Should I just not worry about it? I tried clicking on the link that says they won’t be submitted, but it requires a signature from my noncustodial parent, which I don’t have access to. Thanks!

I have the same issue. I called Collegeboard and was told that the school will see what has and hasn’t been turned in. They said that as long as I turned in the waiver request forms and the school accepted it, I should be fine. The school just uses IDOC to process the documents and verify and then the school’s financial aid department basically pulls the information when they are ready. When I look at the financial aid “to do list” on the school’s website, it says all items have been turned in.
