<p>I have heard that a 6.5 band score is the minimum acceptable score, but I am not really sure. </p>

<p>The only way to find out which universities accept IELTS and if so, what scores they want, is to actually research the college websites.</p>

<p>Thats wat is the problem......they havnt mentiond bout IELTS anywhere....only TOEFL is everywhere........</p>

<p>A lot of universities don't accept the IELTS. Those that do typically say so on their website and state their minimum requirement.
If you care about a few specific schools, why not e-mail them?</p>
