If I apply EA in 2007, will Georgetown get my October SAT II scores?

Does Georgetown's EA allow October scores consideration. I should have one before this time, and then two more on the October date. Is October ok, or do I need to take it in May or June?

thank you

Nope...in fact Georgetown doesn't consider anything at all from your senior year if you apply ea. At least, that's what my counselor told me this year to discourage me from applying early.

I'm not quite sure..where you counselor got his/her info, but I'm quite sure OCT sat II scores will be counted. Novembers are even counted I believe for EA. =] I definitely took SAT IIs in Oct 2006 and was accepted EA.

you are not absolutely required to have SAT II's for EA consideration, however; I didn't submit any scores and I was still accepted.

Not required to send them but if you do take them in October, and send them, then they do consider them.

Actually, it looks like my counselor was right. I got this from Georgetown's website:

"All applicants for Early Action must clearly indicate their intention in the appropriate space on the application form. They should follow the normal application procedure except that the transcript should show three years of high school work, and SAT or ACT scores should be from the junior year. Scores from SATII Subject Tests should be included if available. Please note that the Early Action review is based on information from freshman, sophomore and junior years, so it is not necessary to rush fall subject test scores. Fall scores will be added to an applicant’s file if the student is deferred to the regular review. The application and all supporting credentials must be postmarked by November 1. "

I found the answer to your question, STLFan2003.

"We can only guarantee that we will give consideration to work completed before senior year of high school. We will consider any senior year testing if we receive it in time to review along with the file. However, we do not recommend rushing your scores, as these scores will not be added to your record any faster than scores sent through the standard process."
