I'm sorry if this is a question that has been asked before, but...

Would it be okay if I were to take the October 25th ACT AND still apply EA? Or would my score not get to Georgetown in time?

I would take the September ACT, but I have a tennis tournament that day and don't want to let my team down.

I took it in october and applied EA. They can't guarantee that it will be considered if you just send in your score through collegeboard . However, once you get your score back, have your GC email them. They considered that an official update as long as the collegeboard one comes eventually and matches what your GC said.

thanks! but that's still a bit risky though, right?

I'm almost positive Georgetown only defers students whom it does not accept EA. I don't think it rejects anyone. Can anyone back me up on this? So your score will be forwarded by the time regular decision rolls around in the worst case.

Yep. That is also true.

haha, so, i'm hoping that it will get to them by EA time, otherwise, it would be essentially pointless to apply EA. and since it's single choice EA...

same here...and mine is even riskier. Can anyone tell me if that's ok I take 11/1 sat2???

oh, it's not single choice! i was reading over my viewbook, and i was extremely happy :)

bump for LesleyG :)

I think november is a little late. The good thing is that they will consider your application early even if it doesn't not include SAT II scores and then again if you are deferred with them in March.

Thank you for your information hec2008. So does that mean I will def. get a deferral if I retake the SAT2 in nov.? What about if I submit my orignial 2 scores first and indicate that I might retake them again? and then submit the new scores I get. Does that help?

Sorry there were comma problems there. You don't have to have your SAT II's for EA. You can get it without them. Not having them is not a aromatic deferral. The worst that can happen is they defer you in november, you retake them, and they reconsider your application in the spring.
