I think my grades are fine, it's my class rank that will kill me. I wish I could go back to Freshman year and study harder.

I want to change my essays now lol. My rank is good, ACT scores are good, and ECs are fine. I've got faith in my teachers/counselor/boss for the recs.

I'd change the patheticness of my Freshmen year, and maybe my Sophomore year as well. I'd have a 4.7 or so if it weren't for those, which would probably shoot my rank up to top 5%.

I have chosen SAT score, but I really regret I havn't discovered this website earlier. The information and forums are so viberating and helpful

freshmen year...

I would have applied earlier.

i wish i studied for the SAT (1450/2150)

SAT 2 scores. I should have canceled my 660...

I'd wish colleges could delve into my heart and see the extracurriculars I have done for my intent and compassion about the related subjects. Besides the many prodigies out there, I wish colleges could see past the fake and admit people who do the right things for the right reasons, and only the right reasons.

I can't change myself, and I'm pretty happy with where I'm at. I just wish colleges saw that more (b/c I can't fully express myself on an application).

^^^I completely agree, although it seems that more and more colleges are finding ways to seek out those who were truly dedicated as opposed to those who did things just to make an app look pretty.

My SAT scores definitely, because I bombed my last chance and my Subject Tests are not the greatest. Of course, alot of that problem was my fault in failing to time manage

I said my g.p.a I don't know if this happens at other high schools, but at mine all of the people at the top of the class gpa wise are the ones that take easy classes and get straight a+. Still, I know I could have done better in my a and ap classes if I had committed more time to studying and less to my sport, which it seems like admissions don't appreciate at all...

my sat scores dont reflect my potential at all, i should have begged my parents to pay for some classes, if my scores were higher, I would eb almost a shoo in at many schools. i also should have applied to more ivies, cause my interviewers at thos eones so far have been impressed with me, so maybe I have more of a chance than i thought

personally, I think everyone should apply for all the schools they care about attending, especially in this competitive environment. :-) The sky should be the limit :-P

GPA.
Now I have to go and explain why my Freshman year was a screw-up.

GPA too... My freshman GPA was horrible. ;_;

My ECs. I don't actually have any that are directly related to the school. I did do a bunch of stuff outside of school, but it's all instrumental and I don't know if that even counts.

My extracurriculars for sure. I don't have very many and they aren't focused at all. I'm really happy with my grades and though I wish my SAT score was higher it's still decent.

Hmm...I think it'd be between grades and ECs.

Sometimes I wish I'd taken more APs. Actually a lot of the time, but my schedule was do-able and I was able to enjoy high school.
I also wish I had done more with my summers. Taken classes, done programs, etc.

I'm only a junior, but I wish I could change my GPA, actually, I wish I'd been more open to medications for my ADD during my freshman and sophomore year. And that I'd learned how to study in middle school. XP It sucks when the school counselor says that there aren't that many merit scholarships below a 3.75 and I can't apply for financial aid.
