If I could change one thing....

GPA! I wish I could go back in time and tell my freshman to have pushed myself more!

GPA definitely

I would definitely change my gpa. When I started high school I did not care about school whatsoever and now I’m paying the price for it… My gpa is so low and doesn’t reflect my intelligence at all :frowning: Laziness can really hurt you.

Shouldve taken slightly more manageable classes freshman and sophomore year.

GPA definitely. Its going to be to low for some of my prospective schools, which is why I need to do great on my SAT I/II and ACT, as well as write amazing essays and volunteer more.

I got into the college I always dreamed of, which was Berkeley. Even if I got accepted to every other school in the world, I wouldn’t have budged. That was nine years ago. So no regrets!

Interesting thread I agree

LOL I would change A LOT.

I would’ve had some more academic-related ECs like Model UN (I would’ve done it all 4 years instead of just 1), school newspaper, speech & debate…But I have more ECs than most people so I can’t complain even though I wasn’t very active freshman year.

I would’ve had a higher GPA. I did pretty well, but instead I would’ve tried harder to make my GPA go from 92 to ~95.

I would’ve taken more APs other than just one. Probably would’ve taken a few in Social Studies and maybe English.

I would’ve tried harder for my SAT. In addition to the prep course I took, I planned on doing a lot of studying on my own and that didnt really happen. My highest scores were in June and I registered for October and planned to work hard over the Summer but my social life and being lazy got in the way and I barely opened the book (which is why my scores went down).

I would’ve applied to fewer schools. I waited too long to make a list and then had trouble narrowing it down. I applied to 15 and now there are schools that I wouldn’t have applied to since I realized I don’t really want to go to some of them anyways.

I would’ve taken the ACT. I realized my SAT scores were pretty good for the schools I was looking at and expected them to go up, except I didn’t do much to prepare for my second SAT. I think the ACT suits me better also…

If I could start all over again I definitely would. TO ALL YOU FRESHMEN/SOPHS/JUNIORS OUT THERE, DON’T DO WHAT I DID!!!

Well I made one fairly silly mistake. I accidentally sent in my common app essay twice. Once under the essay section. Once under the “additional information” section. I realized this after I was already rejected. I am confident it didn’t affect the decision at all, but it is still fairly amusing. And I urge people to go over their applications a few times before submitting…

definitely my grades. I got 4 B’s this semester -_-

I would have continued band and cross country because I really enjoyed them. (I ended up quitting both because of academic/competition stuff)

soooooooo depressing nooooooooooooooooooo

whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyy

I would have started working hard right from freshmen year.

Gpa :)

I realized I made a spelling mistake in my admissions essay after I sent it. Got in anyway, but I still wish I could change it.

It would def. be my scores ugh. I would of studied for a whole year!

If I could change something it would be in Middle school. I would actually try haha. Maybe that way I could have skipped a math level or a grade level.

GPA, without a doubt. You only realize how easy HS actually was once you graduate. Seriously, if I’d had done a few HW assignments more, my GPA would’ve went from a 2.8 to like a 3.4.

only one thing? :’(
fine ill change my grades.
