I think my school is inflated. Without the B-, I’d have a 3.97 (and probably a 3.98 because i’d have had the time/motivation to get my 92.4 in spanish to a 92.5), which would be the top few %. Instead, I have a 3.92, which may or may not even be in the top 10%. Except for one kid, no one over the past three years has got a top 10 college without at least a 3.94, and a 3.97 excluding athletics and ED. </p>

I really regret my freshman year. Ya, I got straight A’s , but I did not get involved at all. I got involved in FBLA, but got lazy and slacked off (didn’t do anything for club and didn’t go to most of the meetings) :frowning: Big regret…I also regret how I did not volunteer or get any community service that year. Now I’m a sophomore and trying to catch up what I missed freshmen year.

GPA for sure… I have a 3.4 UW, but 34 ACT and perfect SATII scores. I think I would have gotten into many more places if I had a 3.75 or better.
