<p>i would because all of this is driving me insane, watching how everyone has gotton their invites/ packages and even happiness. i waited long and hard for nyu, I thought i had the best audition ever (drama) because I did two monologues and 1 poem infront of my auditioner and it seemed as if all went well. Today its March 28th and I havent received any invites or any good knews for that matter---what does that mean?? flat out rejected.
so if I could crumple my dreams which is to become an actress, and throw all of my anxiety into the sky just for one more sign--i would, and maybe that sign would of been that I got accepted-- and I still have to wait for some type of decision to arrrive in the mail -- i really dont even wanna look at that mailbox anymore </p>

<p>the packages and all just went out friday so a lot of people who are accepted havent gotten the packs yet… not until next week. not getting an invitation does NOT mean you arent accepted…they can’t invite everyone a select few. im also waiting for tisch drama… this is the week… try to relax { easy to say hard to do i know} good luck</p>

<p>i know how you feel… i applied to Tisch Film and i’m an international student and everyone around me got their acceptance emails while some didn’t and i was one of the people who received nothing and i truly feel that my portfolio film was way above average quality and my grades were pretty strong as well… really really really want to go to Tisch and the majority of kids who applied to NYU at my school just applied there as their safety school. i know i should not feel discouraged but the whole international student email thing is what really irks me.</p>

<p>Yeah, 13 out of 28 students at my school got their acceptance emails and each year its usually about 50/50 or a little bit over 50% of applicants get in sometimes… i’m not sure if Tisch is separate from the other ‘pool’ of applicants from my school or not… :/</p>
<p>But on a more positive note, some of the international students at my school already got rejection emails from NYU, and when i called Tisch they said not every accepted international student gets an email so that’s a good sign i guess… it’s just so nerve-wracking, and a little while ago my parents got the Parents News thing from NYU urging them to send me to their school and it would be so cruel/evil to send that and then reject me! hahaha but yeah, i don’t know, i’m just super worried right now.</p>
