If I do the TAG with UCI (or UCSB), is my admission guaranteed no matter how hard my major is to get in? I heard Business Econ and Business Admin majors are really hard to get in.

Also, in the transfer application about Extra curricular activities, do I have to write activities that I did after graduating high school (meaning while attending cc)? or I can still write the ones from during the high school years?

One more one more! Are there 2nd choice for choosing a major in the application? like for example, my 1st choice of major is Business Admin and 2nd choice is Business Econ or criminology. (because i don't want to get rejected just because I chose a popular major that's super hard to get in T-T)

I would really appreciate it if you guys can help me out! Thank you~ Have a nice dayyyy :)

You can list extracurricular activities from high school. The application is set up that you can choose participating years from 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and after 12th.

Not all UC campuses consider alternate majors (even if an alternate major is given as an option on the application). You need to contact the UC campuses to find out if your application will be evaluated for alternate major.

Be extra careful though… different schools have different TAG requirements. I’ve talked to a few people who were rejected even after they did the TAG (the admissions office finds loop holes). And again TAG guarantee’s you into the school, not a specific major…
