<p>Hey guys! I'm a little confused about the TAG application. For UCI, business admin is not a major part of TAG and it is my number one major. Business econ, on the other hand, is a TAG major. Does it mean that by tagging into Business econ, it means I have to take that major and forfeited my chance to major in Business admin?</p>

<p>So... if I want to major in Business admin, I should NOT tag into business econ at UCI and just apply without TAG and put Business econ as my alternative major on the regular application. </p>

<p>Is that right?</p>

<p>No. If you’re accepted for business admin you’ll get in to that major as long as it’s listed as your #1. The business econ major doesn’t supersede that, even if it’s a TAG.</p>
