If i don't reply to financial aid package..

If I send in my deposit to enroll in the school, and do not send anything in to deny/adjust any of the financial aid, that means I'm accepting everything they give me and they'll give me more information soon right?

Usually you have to go on to the site and accept those financial aid items you want. My daughter had to do each one, there was an ‘accept/deny’ box for each item, and the deadline is May 1 or she’d have given up her merit aid, state grant, sports scholarship. She did not have the loan information on their yet.

For my D’s school, some items on the financial are automatically accepted already, even for the scholarships that requested a respond on a postcard before we sent it back in.

Check with the school. My daughters’ schools required a signed acceptance of the financial aid package every year.

My daughter’s school was like billscho’s: some stuff was automatically accepted (like Pell grant) other stuff had to be actively accepted online. Some stuff (like her merit aid) had deadlines to accept it or lose it. My son had to sign a form accepting any parts of the aid he wanted.
