....I'd start calculus earlier - math was so repetitive.

yea, especially algebra 2/trig and precalculus

I'd do it exactly the same.

I don't believe in regrets, and I really think I did everything well and it turned out VERY much in my favor. ^_^

Maybe I wouldn't have applied to college as a junior.
But on the whole, high school turned out pretty well for me.

i would have studied more for the SATs. my scores are killllllling me in this whole app process...
and the worst part is, my gpa rocks so there is this huge discrepancy between my grades and my scores :(

wouldn't have gotten Senioritis the begining of Junior year...

"wouldn't have gotten senioritis the begining of Junior year..."

i change my answer.... this one fits me perfectly.

I would have gotten more involved earlier.

I wouldn't have applied to so many colleges (15).

I would have studied for the SAT Subject tests more. And found out about them earlier.

I would have started my applications earlier.

I would have visited colleges.

Sigh, lots of regrets.

kevin I applied to 15 too. I would've applied to two or three more if I had the time.

I would've spoken more German home with my parents.

I would've quit my flute teacher earlier than junior year

I would've started doing research freshman year

I would've kept on playing a varsity sport throughout all 4 years and gotten uber good so I could've gotten recruited by at least a Div III school like MIT.

I would've not worried about my acne so much to have seen 6 dermatologists and tried on a dozen different medications.

"I would've not worried about my acne so much to have seen 6 dermatologists and tried on a dozen different medications."

I agree!! My freshman year I took Minocycline pills without even questioning the dermatologist about it or looking into it myself. I stopped after only a few weeks because I felt so sick and then I had "brain fog" (a serious side effect I read about later) for over a year!

It made it really hard to concentrate on studies. I'm sticking to over-the- counter stuff now!

oh wow that sucks.

I just had lots of skin peeling because the stuff my dermatologists gave me were way too strong. that and it bleached my hair a good 5 o 6 shades lighter.

I regret not starting fencing before freshman year.

I regret not taking the Bio SAT II's last year.

I regret not taking Precalculus Honors, because it makes the jump to Calc BC so much more difficult.

I'm sure I'll have a lot more of these types of regrets next (junior) year.

I regret not dumping the boy I dated the summer of senior year...should have dropped him @ homecoming! What a waste of time!

... You're taking Calc BC as a sophomore? My mind has been sufficiently boggled.

As for me, I would've tried harder this semester. Though I did start a new job--which is both stressful and time-consuming--I do think that I could've put in more effort.

I regret taking Math Analysis as a Junior. I should have just taken AP Calc AB. Most kids in that class actually learned and got good grades, whereas I got Cs and didn't learn much. Other then that, maybe trying harder sophomore year.

i regret not trying to get straight A's, i got decent grades but in hindsight if i would have given any effort at all i could have a 4.0 UW easily

I regret not taking any Honors classes in the sciences.

I also regret not being more open freshman year.

I would've gotten involved in my high school's clubs. I would've done volunteer work, dedicated myself to my schoolwork more, and gotten my license earlier so I could get a job. I would've told the counselor I refuse to take Algebra 1 again, because I already took it in the 8th grade. I would've done geometry and algebra 2 freshman year, honors pre-calculus sophomore year, and ap calculus ab/bc junior year. I would've prepared myself for the SAT and SAT IIs more.

But college is a fresh start for me. I'm going to apply these goals to my life at whatever college I'm going to in the fall. (>'.')> (dedicate myself more to my studies, volunteer, clubs, possibly a job if I have time for it)

I regret regretting.
